National Review reporter Robert Costa talks to an unnamed Mitt Romney adviser who indicates there are a lot of hard feeling between Romney’s inner circle and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie over the latter’s embrace of President Obama after Hurricane Sandy:

Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey, the adviser adds, is persona non grata in Romney’s inner circle. “He went out of his way to embrace the president during the final week of the campaign,” the adviser says. “It wasn’t necessary and it hurt us. Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, and Chris Christie undermined the Republican message.”

Christie, of course, had earlier been one of Romney’s most able surrogates. He was an early supporter of Romney and delivered the keynote address at this year’s republican convention.

The objective was to torpedo Romney so Fat Boy can run in 2016.

He ain't gonna make it, he's a coronary waiting to happen.

The exit polls clearly showed that Christie may have cost Romney the election. 40% of those who voted said that Sandy and Obama’s response to it had a great impact on their vote. That’s huge.

Twenty-six percent named Sandy as an “important” factor, and 15 percent said it was the “most important” factor in their decision.

By the way, what is Christie - about 5’10” in all directions?

I like the way he is handling the latest crisis but, I was really annoyed with the Obama fawning last week. Let’s face it he’s another GOP moderate.
