The party that controls the House of Representatives controls the power of impeachment. Even if a president is never removed from office by the Senate, an impeachment hobbles the activities of a president.

I have posted on a couple of threads that if the right played by the same rules as the left, the national mall would be jam packed with conservatives, and Sarah Palin would be up there with a bullhorn in the biting cold demanding a recount in light of allegations of massive voter fraud. But so far it’s gone over like a lead balloon. So good luck with that “resistance” thing.
As reported on Rush and elesewhere today, Obama got a higher vote percentage in some Ohio and Philly precincts (99 to 100%) that Hugo gets in Venezuela.
This is approaching Sadam’s Iraq with out all the quasi-military uniforms. (Maybe that will be Moochelle’s job?)

Jim, thanks for calling attention to this 2001 interview, made when Obama was an Illinois state legislator. It was aired on a Chicago radio station, as I recall. I have thought for years that this interview was the most telling "reveal" of who the real Obama is. He hates the Constitution's "negative liberties" and seeks "redistributive change." Well, these are exactly the things he's been working on since he's been in office, and I don't expect him to slow down. He is the most radical Marxist/socialist/leftist ideologue we have ever had as president.
