The Obama voters believe in that radicalism.

Not all of them. I know several who (stupidly) believe that he's a bit socialistic, but he can't be as bad as FOX portrays. One said to me, "Now that the election hype is over, he's got to worry about his legacy, and will do the right things for the country." Poor guy--he reads the NYT too much, and can't really think for himself.

Someone needs to explain to your addled friend that what a Marxist thinks is "right" for the country might not actually be right for the country.

Sounds like my neighbor. Hard working, conservative in his own life, religious, great member of the neighborhood and community, but gets all his info from the NYTs and NPR.Thinks Obama could be doing better, but was given a pretty big hole to dig out of and will mellow over the next four years. We even agree on many things politically, and he has voted GOP in senatorial and gubernatorial races in the past, but he can’t seem to see what Obama is doing to the country.
