I heard on the radio this morning that Congressman Tom Price was considering whether to challenge Saxby Chambliss in the GOP Senate primary in two years. I really hope that he does, because it will be like killing two birds with one stone.

A. It will get rid of Chambliss as one of my Senators.
B. It will get rid of Tom Price as my Congressman.

Walker's legal rebuttal states she doesn't have the authority to order a recount. That is spelled out in state law, which says only an election decided by 0.5 percent or less triggers an automatic recount. What happened Sunday, Walker has said, technically is a "retabulation," which a supervisor can perform at her discretion when possible errors exist in vote counting.

She partially recounted ballots on Sunday and is calling it a "retabulation" rather than a "recount" on a technicality. She's playing word games.

FWIU partial recounts or retabulations are illegal under Florida law. If you recount some of the ballots, you have to recount all of the ballots. And this was the second partial recount, the first being on election night.

And just why should support for West be typified as "rare"? In cases like this recount, RNC support SHOULD NEVER BE "RARE" !!!

In essence, the RNC chairperson as well as GOP State Chairs across the fruited plain should NEVER show overt partiality in GOP PRIMARIES. BUT ONCE THERE IS A PRIMARY WINNER, THE RNC Chair or a State Chair SHOULD SUPPORT HIM OR HER IF AND WHEN THEY SUBSEQUENTLY BECOME LOCKED IN A DEADLY, WINNER-TAKE-ALL RECOUNT.
