The Petraeus sex scandal didn't just reveal the former CIA director's bedroom secrets.
It's also shined a spotlight on a romantic facility in Berryville, Virginia, 65 miles from Washington where David and Holly Petraeus' daughter Anne married Matt Mauney last month in a picturesque setting the couple celebrated with pictures on her blog, fannetasticfood.com.
Rosemont Manor owner William Genda told Secrets that he is sad about how the publicity came to his facility, but happy for the new business it is bringing from the Washington area. "It's probably been good," he told Secrets.
Only in business for two years, the 120-acre manor that has been owned by prominent Virginia families dating back to the Civil War has been turned into a premier wedding and event venue that looks downright affordable to Washington brides and easy to secure for those of famous officials like Petraeus.
Genda came up with a unique idea of naming wedding packages after former first ladies, some of whom have visited the manor. The choices run from the least expensive Michelle Obama afternoon quickie to the two-day Jackie Kennedy extravaganza. Anne Petraeus chose the Kennedy package. For a base price of $10,000 she was able to take over the facility for two days and had enough rooms included for the whole wedding party.
On her blog, she gushed, "In addition to having the wedding ceremony and reception there, we also had our rehearsal dinner and a meet & greet there on Friday night. The main manor house was large enough for our immediate family and the bridal party to all stay there which was great - it made it very easy that we didn't have to go anywhere the whole weekend. There were also some cottages on the property where a group of the groomsmen and their dates stayed plus some other close family and friends."
Per Mr. Mom4melody, he wouldn’t do a quicky with the Mooche if he was paid the $10,000.....marriage vows aside.
A couple of Hoagies and a boob belt for the bride?
“...Michelle Obama afternoon quickie...”
no no no no no
Accordingly, shouldn't there be a “Reggie-Barry Happy Ending” package?
All just about everything on Petraeus in a few weeks.
And we know next to nothing about the President after five years.
no no no no no
Indeed. I'm in search of something pointy with which to poke out my mind's eye.
Is there no one capable of basic editing at the Washington Examiner?

Unintentional irony alert.
Isn't it cute that they all turned out to celebrate the specialness of marriage?
Baby got some back!
