What happened to the Log Cabin Republicans?

Or don't they have log cabins in Florida ... only beachfront condos.

Guess that is why Tennessee is my favorite southern state. We are close to mountains and an easy drive to liberal states for indulgence in extremes.

I call BS. Gays have long over estimated their strength as a way of gaining influence. Florida was ALL about fraud.

homos and druggies...

they both relate and associate with him...

and they are both repelled by Romney, as he is a living reminder of their own failings in life.

The difference between Democrat and Republican voting habits is that single-issue Democrats come out and vote; single issue Republicans stay home and sulk.

Call it positive single issue voting, versus negative single issue voting.

Gays come out and vote because of their one issue, regardless of the other positions the candidates. Same with various frightened “ethnic minorities”, abortion advocates, “women’s rights advocates”, and on and on. So they all add up their votes and win. Positive.

Republicans (conservatives) reject a candidate who doesn’t match their views 100% on all issues. So if they disagree with him on a single issue, they stay home. Negative. I’ve never been able to figure out what this is supposed to accomplish, except to perpetually had the reins of power to the other side.

The numbers in this election bear this out more than in any previous one. And how is that working out?

Wrong. He “won” Florida (and Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and Virginia, etc.) by election fraud, nothing more.

I don't understand this.

Polls show that gays make up less than 3% of the national population. Divide that by 50 for one state. How can that small number be the reason for any election to won?

The same can be said for the African-American vote. They are about 16% of the national population, yet news stories imply that they turned out more than whites. As a percentage that might be true, but not in absolute numbers. There aren't enough of them to counter the "white" vote.

Also, if all these minorities are being cited as being the decisive reason for Obama winning, then how can anyone argue that requiring an ID to vote would suppress minority turnout when they are already turning out in record numbers?
