Where do they get these STUPID judges?
so? if they want the opposite viewpoint, make some “chose death” plates adn you shoudl be good to go, right?
Further proof that a law degree does not constitute proof of education.
It seems that “choose life” could be an anti suicide and anti murder sentiment, as well.
If we had an anti-suicide plate would we have to have a kill yourself plate as well?
The abortion freaks aren’t even proud of their stance because they have to constantly couch it in non-descriptive terms like “pro-choice” and try to censor all images of a human fetuses and how they look after they’ve been sliced up.
What the hell are they going to put on a licence plate anyway? Lots of times they act as if abortions don’t really even take place!
Actually, there should be a “Choose Death” option for the NC uncaring. We all need to know which other drivers on the road don’t care about life, yours or theirs, apparently.
"Choose Death?"
Well, then offer plates with the opposing view: Abort Liberal Judges. That would cover it.
“...blocked the state from offering residents choose life license plates without providing plates with the opposing view...”
Where would that logically end?
Does this mean that pro-death, pro-baby killing crowd will have to have a plate to proudly announce their hatred of human life?
If you have a ‘Mothers Against Drunk Driving’ plate would they also need to offer a plate for those who like to drink with a good buzz on?
Could they offer an Autism awareness plate, without offering cancer awareness, lupus awareness, collits awareness, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic halitosis awarness, ingrown fungal toenail, etc. plates?
What about a 2nd Ammendment themed plate? Would they have to offer a ‘I’m an unarmed victim in waiting’ plate?
Plates supporting the local Police? Nope, not unless they get a Gangsta Thug 4Evah plate (comes standard with all vehicles having 26” or larger diameter rims).
I’m not sure it would ever end. Until Judges like this are voted into unemployment.
CHOOSE DEATH??
So much for their position being pro-CHOICE. When you advocate a choice, they will still opt for the opposite.
Is this like the Fairness Doctrine for license plates?
“State Rep. Mitch Gillespie, a Republican who sponsored the bill, has already announced his intention to urge the attorney general to appeal the decision.”
How about the Governor sending the judge a letter reminding him of the 10th Amendment and telling him there is nothing in the Constitution giving a single federal judge the power to over rule a state legislature? Inform the judge the state will ignore his ruling and proceed to implement the law passed by the legislature.
Give the left their vanity license:
KILL THE CHILDREN!
U.S. District Court Judge James Fox seems painfully ignorant of
or has contempt for the Declaration of Independence"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" is a well-known phrase
in the United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase is meant
to exemplify the "unalienable rights" with which all human beings are
endowed by their Creator and for the protection of which they institute
governments.[1]
Nothing says the state can’t offer “Choose Death” plates.
As I ranted in a related post, the only reason that activist judges get away with decisions like this is because parents are not making sure that their children are being taught the difference between legislative and judicial powers. And when children get old enough to vote and sign petitions, they don’t recognize when corrupt judges legislate from the bench.
Anyone have any thoughts if this will apply to other states?
The 3 branches of government are out of control. We have been triangulated by TOTALITARIANS.
When bubba klintoon rose to power he dismissed most federal judges and replaced them with idiots that would do his bidding. The GOP, in usual fashion protested mildly and then slinked away, so he got away with it. This was similar to the GOP protests about Fast and Furious and Benghazi - you see what is happening with them - absolutely nothing! These judges can stay in power for forty years or so, or for life.
I see an opportunity here. A business that does metal stamping or plastic fabrication should come out with license plate surrounds (like those frames car dealers use) that say “choose life.” Sales would be brisk all over the US.
