US hesitant in condemning North Korean launch

The U.S. has told the world that it won’t tolerate Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons or Syria’s use of chemical stockpiles on rebels. North Korea, in some ways, is a trickier case.

The U.S. wants to forcefully condemn what it believes is a “highly provocative act,” and that was the first public reaction from the White House late Tuesday. But it also is mindful of the turmoil on the Korean peninsula and treading carefully, offering no threat of military action or unspecified “consequences” associated with other hot spots. …

I'm guessing that's some more of that post-election "flexibility" we've heard about.

Its more about distancing the US from allies (Japan, Taiwan, Israel, Mubarak...) and cozying the US up to it’s new allies (NK, China, MB, Palees, ...)

Yep ... the enemy is in the WH and infiltrated and embedded within our structure.

It's just a matter of time.

Our WIC (Wuss-in -Chief) is too busy condemning America.

This is predictable.

Zer0 wants to see his ally, North Korea, prevail.

The Kenyan Muslim Communist is more concerned with seizing weapons from Americans, than he is concerned with a Communist NutJob country possessing nuclear capability

Of course, part of this NoKo problem is Obama continuing the same bad Free Trade policies with North Korea’s main financier and weapons provider...Communist China....which provides the resources for North Korea’s weapons programs

The Norks are China's proxy war-arm, and can bomb any theater with impunity.

The North Koreans schedule their missile launches around the same time we send up a shuttle. They are probably hoping that the current regime will play the moral equivalence card.

We can think of a lot of reasons for Obama doing what he does, but lets not forget the obvious.

The stupid bastid has no idea what to do.N. Korea is not above his pay grade it’s above his IQ grade.

He is voting present just like he did as a State Senator, and even that was above his IQ grade.Worse he has an administration filled with low level, brain drained individuals picked for their race or liberalism, or cronyism. Not one was picked because of their expertise.
