US Senate Illegal Alien Intern Shows Depth of Lawlessness in Government Today
http://usdailyreview.com ^ | december 15, 2012

According a report by the Associated Press, political appointees at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) repeatedly instructed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents not to arrest an illegal alien sex offender who was employed as an unpaid intern in the office of Senator Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) until after the elections. If confirmed, this overtly political act further demonstrates the shocking politicization of immigration enforcement under the current DHS leadership, charged the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

I’m really not surprised that an illegal alien sex offender fit right in with the crowd in Washington D.C. and was able to go unnoticed for so long.

the shocking politicization of immigration enforcement

Close, but it's really more than that. It's politicization of most or maybe even ALL enforcement, and the growing emergence of an American nomenklatura system; if you're an insider, normal enforcement just doesn't apply:

Are you a baseball player rumored to have taken growth hormone? You'll spend a year or more under the kleig lights on Capitol Hill. Are you a YouTube video maker? You might be rousted at midnight and perp-walked by sheriff deputies under the kleig lights of 5 Satellite Van news crews, then put into solitary confinement.

Are you Secretary of State when an Embassy is destroyed in a terrorist attack? You can cover it up, and a fainting spell can get you out of testifying. Did you export machine-guns to Narco-Kingpins? Just send all the principals who could testify overseas.

More and more America is a completely ordinary country where if you're rich and powerful then the rules do not apply to you; rule by men, not laws.

What we see is that we're reverting to the jungle because Americans have decided to stop being America.

Criminals working with socialists working for a totalitarian. Who'da thunk it? Laws?...we don't have to obey any steeenkin' laws.

Life, faculties, production — in other words, individuality, liberty, property — this is man. And in spite of the cunning of artful political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it. Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place. - Bastiat "The Law"

What I would like to know is which country is this intern from?

If I recall correctly Sen. Menendez made many trips to the Dominican Republic for sexual activities at some club down there...at least that was a strong rumor.

Perhaps this intern was "close" to the Senator.

I have been following this since the story broke earlier this past week. One report said: Peru.

I usually do not watch Fox, but did for two days after AP reported this, it was not mentioned on the segments I watched.

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Vaduz~:” We no longer have a government we have money launders. “

Yup , we are already there , and the threat of increased criminality , thuggery , and money laundering increases every day.
Now the Tantrum-in-Chief wants to increase the number of patronage jobs ( bought and paid for by your taxes) to be larger than our standing Army .
And boehner lacks a spine .

TADSLOS, this is as corrupt as it gets. If the R’s had any cajones at all they’d be screaming about this!!! Makes ya wonder why they don’t.....

Yet more evidence that the radio caller was telling the absolute truth when he said, "I was in a meeting after Obama got elected and I was told by the Democratic officials in that meeting that we were gonna get billions of dollars that was gonna come down the pike, our way, and what we were to do with it was, we were supposed to build a…. We are gonna build an army of Democratic patronage jobs…. gonna completely freeze up the Republicans forever and ever…"
"It’s not a stimulus package; it’s not pork; it’s a job patronage system.
"…be bigger than the United States Army--that’s what we were told; there’s gonna be more employees working for the Democrats in this patronage system than the United States Army."

I think we're done. 8 years at least of this mentality in charge, also the younger generation trained in our schools to believe this is the right thing....I just don't see way to a less corrupt system where self-sufficiency is celebrated rather than trashed.
