Re: K-12 schooling
Modern K-12 schooling, since its inception in the mid1800s, is and always has been a socialist-funded, single-payer, and compulsory-use entitlement.
Children who attend government K-12 schools risk learning that any voting mob powerful enough to give them tuition-free schooling is powerful enough to give them **lots** of free stuff. We should not be surprised that after one to three generations of socialist-funded and government compelled schooling that voters were comfortable with FDR's socialism and compulsion.
I have not yet read Chapter 18 but plan to later this afternoon. I am in a rush since I have church responsibilities that need immediate attention.
