So it’s a bit hyperbolic, nonetheless, someone needs to draw the line. The 68 act was a disaster for the second amendment, but I’ll grant you that working in the informational environment then was a lot tougher on our side than for the anti gun side since they had a media advantage not offset by the internet.

Carter and Knox gained power in response to the lack of NRA leadership in the forceful defense of the 2nd Amendment.

Carter was the first EVP elected by members and Knox was appointed the first ILA director.
