He’s a weak leader. Let’s admit it.
What in the heck made him think it was a good idea to kick off the session after Romney lost the election with a kick in the teeth to the base that gave him the majority in the house? A real leader would not lead by dividing and weakening his own side. He’s nuts.
The day that Boehner was given the Speaker's gavel by Pelosi, and he blubbered and carried on like a wimp, I knew we were done.
I didn't know much about him at that point, but I sat down at my desk in my office, let out a big sigh, and I knew that all the hopes I had that a tough politician would stand up to Bath House Barry and the media machine were dashed.
When Nasty Pelosi looked dignified next to "our man" - it was lights out.
In politics, sometimes things get dirty. Don't let anyone ever tell you that blackmail or threats of blackmail don't work. They do.
Barry has A LOT of dirt on him. Everyone in DC knows it.
Boehner never even threatened Barry with exposure. Almost immediately, Bath House Barry knew he could roll this guy like a ball, and he did.
