I love how the media’s lamenting on how he had to take a “red eye” flight back to Washington.

According to the internet, a “red eye” flight is one “that departs an airport late at night and arrives at its destination early in the morning,” but “provides the passenger inadequate sleep” due to having to endure the nighttime flight in a cramped airplane seat.

Wait a minute - I thought Air Force One was a flying apartment! It’s not like he has to sit in a “cramped airplane seat.” I’m sure he had a nice cozy bed to sleep in while enroute.

Once again, the media’s trying to paint a sympathetic picture.

I’m in LA from NY often. I always take the red-eye back. It’s the only smart thing to do.
