In one of its last actions of the year, the United Nations General Assembly on Christmas Eve agreed to extend for another three years the formula that has U.S. taxpayers contributing more than one-fifth of the world body’s regular budget.
No member-state called for a recorded vote, and the resolution confirming the contributions that each country will make for the 2013-2015 period was summarily adopted. The assembly also approved a two-year U.N. budget of $5.4 billion.
The U.S. has accounted for 22 percent of the total regular budget every year since 2000, and will now continue to do so for the next three years. …

I was going to ask when exactly it was that Congress delegated this authority to the UN. Not that it matters with this Congress.
I suppose it’s under the “Promote the General Welfare...” thing, like ALL foreign aid.

I wonder if the Treaty on guns that Obama so desperately wants to sign so badly ,actually comes from the UN or was introduced at the UN at the request of Obama.

The UN should be de-funded
To start with, make them move their HQ. Just shut off the water and power (and block the sewers).

THIS has got to stop. The U.N. is the tool of every “bad guy” government out there seeking to screw over America, and the rest of the Free, non Muslim aligned World that allies themselves with America.
The U.N. ICLEI is illegally (NO treaty) promoting U.N. Agenda 21 regulations in counties, and towns throughout the States of America literally worming their way into leadership positions putting themselves in charge of governing American citizens.
It has to stop. We have to wake up. It’s happening.
Let this go over the cliff too.
