I am very concerned about the potential cuts to weapon systems, not so much about the civilian workforce.

there are way too many pencil pushing civilians clogging the cogs of the U.S. military. getting rid of many of these positions would be a very good thing. I know this first hand.

its a start.......I think our military has to change too....fewer lifers.....far fewer...

My views are totally opposite. I am a federal worker and don't want to see my job cut, reduced or fall into the furlough's. I would like to keep my job thank you very much.

And to those out there who hope for a total demise of the federal civilian workforce, remember there are good, honest, Christian men and women who work for Uncle Sam who, while we don't agree with many of their policies or stances, still put in an honest day's work.
