House Democrats Renew Push for Health Insurance Public Option
Breitbart ^ | 1/17/13 | William Bigelow

On Tuesday, 44 House Democrats joined Rep Jan Schakowsky in her bid to submit H.R. 261, legislation supporting a “public option.” When ObamaCare was passed in 2010, the “public option” was removed, but like the seven-headed Hydra, another head has grown in its place.

Schakowsky claimed, "Obamacare is already helping millions of Americans get the health care they need, but it can be made even better. The Public Option Deficit Reduction Act will give health care consumers more choice and lower their premiums."

We should all just max out our credit cards, take the max on cash advances, get a home equity loan for cash, and just tell the IRS we don’t have no money, can we pay them after the bankruptcy?.....

You gotta give the left credit. They don’t mess around when the public perception is supposedly in their own favor.

It’s truly a shame that conservative values didn’t take hold during the years the Republicans ran things. This country would be far better off, and the vibrant economy it would have created would make the conservative-bashing media look like the fools that they are.

Instead, they pissed it all away and opened the door to the “One” and his minions. Oh...what could have been...

Once people start experiencing sticker shock over their skyrocketing premiums, there will be a stunning amount of public support for this.

Next stop, single payer.

I think it won’t be long until you start hearing calls for Public Option banking too.

I’m sure the Public Option will decrease the cost of health insurance, just like Obamacare did.

In the opposite direction.

I would like to see a private option under Obamacare.

I.e., let people opt out.
