A perfect waste of good whiskey. Should have returned the bottles filled with rubbing alcohol. Shackelton, being a no nonsense man, likely would have like to have seen the whiskey drunk and enjoyed. That would have been a more fitting tribute to his memory. They could have at least enjoyed one bottle, giving him and his brave men a hardy toast.
