That is certainly a strange fact given the velocity of the .223 round, but I am not sure of this in all situations.
Point of impact couldn’t have been more than 10 feet.Muzzle velocity at about 3200 ft./sec. with a JHP.Can’t imagine it wouldn’t be through and through.
