It's just incredible...they have the fed government, state government, county government, government helicopters, fire department, ATF, SWAT teams...Hundreds standing around drinking coffee...

Shooting some bus driver and taking little kid hostage, this guy is obviously a mental case...

Wouldn't it make more sense just to have the local sheriff and fire department/paramedics on hand to see if they could talk this guy into releasing the kid and to come out?

Bet the rent, with SPLC, the feds, state and county governments etc involved and next thing will be the mayor and governor on TV giving speeches, turning this into some political extravaganza...

It's just nuts...

I still don't understand why they've haven't flown in 3 or 4 SEAL teams, a full Brigade Team of the 82nd Airborne, and elements of the 10th Mountain Division.

And don't forget a dozen or so tanks from the 1st Armored Division...
