Congress's Policies Steal Our Freedom While Rewarding Irresponsibility

Confession: I plucked the inspiration for this piece from my father. Given the premise, perhaps that’s appropriate. The common underlying current to the progressivism which has saturated America’s social, political and economic firmament is an erosion of America’s multigenerational purpose. The federal apparatus has supplanted families as our primary support mechanism.

Families provide the sure foundation undergirding Western Civilization. No laws or economic remedy can arrest social breakdown if the family structure fractures. Yet, progressives have commandeered the political realm to overhaul culture. Marriage withers under easy divorce, subsidized illegitimacy, and the desire among progressives to make it anything and everything. The only liberties the Left touts grant license to repudiate traditional morality.

Economics writer Warren Brookes foresaw, “So the continuing, ever-mounting assault on traditional family values may well be more destructive to our economic well-being as a nation than any of our faulty fiscal or monetary policies.” An effete or wayward people won’t yield a plentiful harvest. Morals matter to markets. But the perverse side-effects of Washington’s fiscal policies are too frequently overlooked.

When the commie ‘RATS in the government come out with their new “gun control” regulations, Americans need to steal a page out of the illegal alien playbook and stand up to the U.S. Government and just say, BITE ME!!!

If you withdraw money from an IRA before you are allowed to - the FEDS confiscate Fifty Percent (50%) of it - and that is AFTER they hit you for Federal Income Tax the Retirement Savings you put into a 401K or to the IRA you rolled over (or transferred) your Retirement Saving into -

The idea of a 401K or an IRA is to get people to put aside and save as much as possible for their retirement

- and to keep people saving that way while boosting the American economy and the Stock Market

Thus eventually passing on any remaining assets you have put away into savings (instead of on drugs, booze, gambling, and unneeded spending) to your Beneficiaries upon your death

Social Security takes your earnings at the point of a gun from the Internal Revenue Service and then can even tax it again if you have income over a certain amount a year after your retirement or semi-retirement and pays out only a tiny amount each year until you die - at that time - say you live on until you are only 70 as ( - - - - ) was the FEDS confiscate all the so-called “contributions” you made since you were in your 20s and your beneficiaries then get nothing.

So an IRA usually builds to pay out over twice as much as what Social Security pays out

Judges and the laws call that a “Ponzi Scheme” if a private company does it.

Some on Free Republic may likely put it differently or correct any errors I have made - but all in all - this is why the democrats (and some Republicans) want access to your Retirement Savings accounts to “Manage them for you”.

Like (now convicted and imprisoned) Madoff - (who was a huge supporter and campaign contributor to Obama and the Democrat Party) Obama believes he has a right to your money and retirement savings - so only he can manage and spend it - and redistribute it to minorities and illegal aliens (to buy their “locked in” votes) and spend on himself and his family and friends - It is only the “FAIR” thing to do - and of course, only Balack Hasan Obama #2 can do it so much smarter and better than you can.

The Clintons once said “We cannot trust the American peons (people) to spend their money wisely and properly!”

The Obamas say “We cannot trust the American peons (people) to have firearms to protect their children!”

- It is all about control and power -

Either Lenin or Stalin (What difference does it make now? as Hillary said) said “Power comes out of the barrel of a gun!”

If only the government has guns - you are their slaves -

That is why Obama is demanding a new “Bill of Rights” for the government - right now he is actually creating it without ammending the US Constitution - by ignoring the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and using Executive Orders and other illegal methods to bring about what he called in 2008 “Fundamental Change” -
