Yes, I see, it looks like one, but the tip of the top barrel looks like some kind barrel choke. Even with that, why would there be a port in the side of the barrel? That’s what looks like where gas comes from.
I believe so too. Not sure why only the top barrel has the gold plated screw-in choke though. Course, an ol' country boy like me, has only shot the economy model.
