[That would not have stopped the gunman at Newtown. Also criminals/gang members ignore the law, so they would also ignore registrations/background checks. The government can’t even secure the border, so what makes any liberal think their taking the guns will stop criminals from getting guns elsewhere?]

The city of Chicago just had a month where more people died on their streets than died in Afghanistan.

And Chicago has some of the tightest gun laws in the nation.

I wish someone that shows up on TV that is pro 2nd Amendment would counter the gun grabbers with that factoid when they start talking about the need for tighter controls.
