“Why are we worried about Indian women.” are the words of a knucklehead, not a thoughtful discussion about the problems of the reservation. It simply plays into leftist stereotypes about republicans and hurts the cause of conservatism where we might otherwise change some minds.
If we all want the sad situation to change (and I think we all do), we do it by changing hearts and minds one at a time. Backhandedly dismissing people (and children no less) because they have fallen for leftist lies does more harm than good.
Believe me, I’m there actually talking to people on a fairly regular basis. I understand very well.
I’m on board with the changing hearts and minds mission, and the harvest is WAY bigger than the workers, if you know what I mean.
