Old folks are the guinea pigs for a lot of drugs. Just as fat people are guinea pigs for weight reduction drugs. Approved drugs get pulled off the market all the time after a lot of mishaps.

I'd say the FDA should be renamed the FDBA...Federal Drug Bribing Administration.

The FDA is an ambulance chasing lawyer’s best friend. After all, the drug has to get approved, get on the market and actually harm someone before they are able to cash-in.
