Groundhog Day and the President’s State of the Union address occur in the same month.

This is an ironic juxtaposition of events.

One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication.....

The other involves a groundhog.

"SARAH PALIN ON THE SOTU ADDRESS "We are a country going bankrupt to fund a bloated, distant, and often corrupt federal government led by venal self-serving politicians more concerned with paying off their campaign cronies and consolidating their own power" (using govt authority and resources to acquire personal wealth).

"Jobs for Jerks" sums up the entire Congress AND the Obamanations.

In his SOTU, Obama told us he plans to buy even more voting blocks with 29 (count 'em) new federal programs----of course this will not increase the deficit by even a penny---the prez fatuously said.

29 totally free programs?

I guess David Axelrod was at Casa de Campo getting a lube job----and didn't have a chance to signoff on that lamebrain idea.
