The GOP had better start embracing the tea party.

Hell, the GOP establishment appears ready to help him achieve his goal, just by being themselves.

I don’t see how 2014 will be much different from the 2010 shellacking.

Most of the voters who turned out in 2012 to reelect Obama will do just what they did in 2010-stay home.

Health care, the issue that seemed to be the driver for Republican turnout in 2010 is still there, and by 2014 its popularity will be even less than it was then, in my opinion.

Americans aren’t smart, but they do like power. Obama is behaving like a dictator, and I think a lot of stupid Americans like that.

Obama jammed through Obamacare when no one thought it would be, or could be done.

Gutting the GOP like a fish is child’s play next to ramming through Obamacare.

There’s going to be a whole lot of GOP politicians looking for work.

Democrats are already digging up voters in every key precinct.

Obama’s best made plans may go astride if his approval rating keeps dropping . . . he’s down to 43 percent, and at this rate he may not even have the influence to get Pelosi elected as dog catcher let alone returning DemoQuacks to power in the House.

Rush described this scenario over a month ago. Now everyone is talking about it.

Obama will get his way and Pelosi will become Speaker of the House in 2014. The “teach them a lesson crew” of 2006 and the “stay at home crew” of 2008 will make this nightmare become a reality.

We conservatives have the best of intentions, but we can’t seem to ever get it together and I see no reason to cause me to believe that we will this time around.

In 2012, I voted for “love of country” in the most important election of our time. I would have been willing to vote for a can of soup over Obama.... but it didn’t matter then and I doubt that it will matter in 2014.

“Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.” ~ Ronald Reagan, from his first inaugural speech as governor of California, January 5, 1967

Ronald Reagan’s warning about losing our freedoms echoes down through a generation of lost momentum and squandered opportunity.

We now have the most ignorant electorate in the history of American elections. I believe we have the most corrupt government and media our country has ever seen. We were warned and he was right.

What we do is certainly a free choice and a personal choice.... and as it is with all choices, there will be consequences.

In any case, Americans got the country it apparently wanted and for many, a country it so richly deserves.

And the GOP is playing right into his hands.

This budget deal blows my mind. By making a supposed stand, they are destroying the brand.

Not to mention starting to support gay marriage, illegal aliens, and gun control. The GOP is choosing to die.
