Do you have to say which state you reside in when you file for divorce. That might have been interesting if they filed in TN, said lived in TN, then ran for office in Kentucky.

Of course both names and addresses must appear on divorce documents, which are typically issued by only one state.

They have not filed yet!

They married in Scotland, so they probably could divorce there.

But I still wonder if this address thing played a role in her withdrawal. Or maybe she just didn’t want to stress out her ‘companion animal’.

Kentucky has a state income tax rate of 6% on income over $75,000. Tennessee only taxes income from interest and dividends. I think that explains why she lives in Tennessee.
