True -- to a point.
Just as concealed-carry gun laws provide some security for everyone (because, the bad guys don't know who's armed, and who isn't); if all school-security measures were truly obscure, then the nut jobs would have to consider that there might be armed security at a school they chose to hit.
Please, notice all the conditional statements above. The problem is that a school's security measures are, at best, an open secret. The interactive map would only save a determined psycho a few minutes of research time. That makes your statement correct, in practice. Regardless, publishing the map was an insanely bad idea.
