Seems like a great reason for a preemptive strike, those are ICBM flight paths.
We have lots of plan to attack other nations, including our ostensible allies. We do have reasons to attack them (for one, we’re technically still at war with them and they just ended the 60 year truce), but the “US Mainland Strike Plan” is not one of them
