However, hungry, desperate people can be formidable foes. I don’t for a minute believe the norks could do significant damage to the US mainland. I do believe they could raise real hell with South Korea, and I don’t think a land war with them would be a particulary good idea, given the president we have and economic conditions.And then there is always the possibility of China starting to smell blood.I don’t subscribe to the crowd that says “just throw a couple of tomahawks at them and forget them” Wars have a way of generating unintended consequences. Same with Iran, The Russians could get involved pretty easily in any conflict with them. Sure would be nice if Reagan was president right now,IMHO.
