Boris Berezovsky, the Russian oligarch found lying on his bathroom floor with a ligature around his neck, was in good spirits the night before his died and was looking forward to a holiday to Israel, according to his girlfriend.

Katerina Sabirova, 23, said she did not believe he had killed himself and said that he sounded “better than usual” when she spoke to him. She said they were due to go to the Dead Sea three days later. A post-mortem conducted last month found that Mr Berezovsky's death was "consistent with hanging" and that there were no signs of violence or "third party" involvement.

Obviously anything involving connected Russians is suspicious but apparently he was going broke. Not “broke” in the real sense but he was used to living like a king.

I have no sympathy for the guy. He used his business connections to fly in teenage girls (technically above age of consent) from Eastern Europe for paid sex. Often mistreating them when they stayed over.

Young girls living in poverty and forced to sell their bodies because oligarchs like him robbed their home countries blind.

The scum deserves to burn in hell just for that.
