Swap NK for Taiwan?

We (the West) gets a starved psychotic hell hole and the Chinese get a thriving industrialized formerly free economy?

I fail to see how that is in any way a good deal for us, and it is clearly a hell of a bad deal for the Taiwanese, who are sure to disagree with your new Munich solution, with them playing the part of the Czechs.

As the Chinese have nurtured NK for decades, it is far more logical and moral to simply make NK a Chinese problem. Then they can deal with it.

Jointly (USA, Japan, SK) announce that NK has left us no choice but to respond to their nuclear threats:
1. Japan becomes a nuclear power with a goal of parity with China. Japan announces the purchase of delivery systems from the U.S.
2. U.S. nuclear SRBMs, e.g. new Pershing IIs are to be based in SK.

The Chinese would crap. Give them about 2 weeks to digest it, and then make it clear that we will shut things off, IF the Norks are dealt with.

Oh WOW....Gorgeous!

I grew up near a neighbor with a log cabin...loved it as a kid. But about the closest I got to having one was a semi-log cabin on the mountain, the family got together and built for all. Unfortunately it was simply “sided” as a log cabin....none of the inner rafters etc.

It must have been hard to leave that gorgeous home!

Five stages of North Korean offensive war:

1. Furious onslaught of ceaseless destruction.
2. Unquenchable hellfires of doom.
3. Never ending barrage of merciless desolation.
4. Apocalyptic reign of terror throughout enemy lands.
5. Medication takes effect, Dear Leader dozes off.

We lived there 11 years and loved it. Made a handsome profit off the sale of it. We like being on the river now. More Ducks, Dillos and Catfish than Deer. Not that we don't love venison, redfish and blue crab.

Obama doesn’t act—he reacts and only after polls and other advise deems it in HIS interests to act. It not about the USA, US Troops, Allies, it all about him and the Progressive cause. He would gladly give up San Francisco to get war powers and ram though his full agenda.

It will probably be an EMP. I wonder how much Obama and his foreign cohorts are paying him to do it.
