Back in the 80's when crack cocaine was first hitting the streets, Marxine Waters, Jesse Jackass and others of their ilk called it a scourge of the inner cities and demanded that penalties for dealing and possessing crack were jacked up higher than for like amounts of simple cocaine.

They got exactly what they asked for...the longer sentences for blacks merely reflect the fruits of their efforts.

huh, i didn’t know they pushed for that. wonder why, if they thought blacks were using something else...?
