RUSH: One other thing about this that I think the news media is party to. If you didn´t know any better, you would believe today that Obama is really desirous of having a budget deal. And if you didn´t know any better, you would think Obama is really serious about solving the immigration problem and coming to an agreement on it, even if it´s everything he wants, you would think that that´s what he´s targeting. And if you didn´t know any better, you would think that Obama really, really does want the employment situation to improve.

People tend to vote based on promises not on what has been done.

2. The Bad GOP is keeping people down by protecting evil corporations and Billionaire's from paying their share of taxes.
Option #2: This country is plagued by politicians who do not care one way or the other, they are simply angling for little deals that will work out well for themselves. They think the rest of us, and our 200-year-old experiment with freedom, can just go to hell; they don't care.

GOP leadership certainly doesn’t. There are, however, a few outstanding reps in Congress. And the best thing Conservatives can do is to continue promoting these stalwarts of Liberty as a long-term, pragmatic effort.
