President Obama’s second big dinner with Senate Republicans will be at the White House Wednesday night, press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday.
Carney declined to say which senators will join Obama but Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.), who is organizing the guest list, said Sens. John Thune (R-S.D.) and Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will join him at the dinner. Isakson’s office said he would release the full guest list Wednesday.
The dinner follows Obama’s initial outreach to Senate Republicans last month. That dinner grew out of discussions Obama had with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
Carney said topics of discussion will include Obama’s gun control agenda, immigration reform and the White House budget proposal, which is to be released Wednesday morning.
Isakson said he expects the dinner to have a freewheeling agenda.
"There is no agenda,” he told POLITICO. “It's no holds barred. It's an open agenda he didn't set parameters just asked me to invite 12 members of the Senate in the Republican conference.”
The Republicans don't need to be Rope a Doped or trapped. They are already in Obama's camp. They agree with him. They are having the White House dinner to work on strategy to sell this gun control to the gullible American public, exactly how professional wrestlers share laughs and beers backstage as they work on next week's script.

I am bombarded with dread of this or that ‘making compromise’ yet you never see that in the DemocRat camp?
When Obama says ‘making compromise’ it means he's expecting others to do such, never him. I've just had enough of our side compromise. Friggin' unbelievable.

I am sorry but as soon as this years’ local elections are over this fall, I am changing my affiliation to Libertarian as I believe they represent more of what I believe in which is FREEDOM, FREEDOM and more FREEDOM! I refused to be used by the Republicans because the truth is that with all their talking about Obama, they agree with him more than they disagree. Very sad!

Notice the American People are getting to Obama. Why do you say that? Note this time the dinner is not at an expensive restaurant. Second note Obama always charges when people dine other invited guests, parties whenever someone dines with him. There is no such thing as free lunch.

The RNC,CIC, Rove & Co have pretty much purged the party of conservatives. We have been sold down the river for money and power. The Chamber of Commerce whores want cheap labor,(amnesty) and the globalists want our guns. Out of all the R’s in the House and Senate, how many can you name who are real patriots? How many can you name who haven’t been bought and paid for?
What we considered normal typical American freedoms just a few years ago, are under daily attack by those now in control, which includes the corrupt, deviates, homos, extortionist, perverts and people who are extremely controlling, who are driven to totally control, tax and regulate everything.
It's as if the government has become one big all controlling homeowners association. Except this association wants to not only control everything you touch or buy, but want to control you, your health, the food you eat, and even what you say.
