A government watchdog group is seeking clarity into how an election regulation is enforced on government employees.
Cause of Action sent a letter to several federal agencies on Monday asking how the Hatch Act, which prohibits federal employees from engaging in partisan campaign activity in their official capacity, applies to the subordinate who supported Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius when she violated the law last year.
Sebelius broke the Hatch Act last year when she endorsed President Barack Obama and another Democratic candidate while speaking to a gay rights group in North Carolina in her official capacity as secretary.

This is an easy question to Answer.
If you are a Republican and violate the Hatch act you will be prosecuted and persecuted and probably lose your job.
If you are a Democrat and violate the Hatch act you will be ignored for the violation and get a promotion when the Democrat is elected.
Laws don’t apply to democrats. Let’s see, using Sebeliuss’ reasoning, I rob a bank, am caught later, I give the money back, so therefore, I shouldn’t be prosecuted. Yup, that’s the rationale. Think it would work for me?

Carry the situation further. Let many people rob a bank then go to a casino or win a jackpot and then go back perhaps for a payback and say ‘You must not jail us because we only did and want what every other person gets to enjoy. We were/are now part of your depositors’. Sound familiar?
