OR.. he voted against the gun bill planning on seeking re-election.
Then looked at the poll numbers and realized he STILL was going to lose so he retired.

I think he got a midnight call from Imam Obama telling him the party would not support his reelection. If he shifts his vote when the gun bills come back up, which they will, you know he got the message to change his vote or be picnicking at Fort Marcy Park.
It was his advocacy and vote for Obamacare that was going to doom him...that’s why he’s bailing..
He wrote Obamacare and recently said it was going to be a train wreck.
He was going to be primaried as a result of the gun vote, it was going to be bloody and a substantial portion of the Dem base would stay at home on election day.
It just wasn’t worth it to him.
He’s a dem-he has NO sense of decency.
