Problem of being a radio talk host is you frequently end up a day late and a dollar short.
Some other excellent pieces at the website...enjoyed 'Candy, Cell Phones, and Potato Bugs', as well...
Masterful look at the reality of the KSA and its “Government.”
Thank you.
Good read. I hope you are on the money. However, if you are on the right track, any idea why Glenn’s sources in law enforcement and Congress don’t understand what is really going on? Beck claims he is pushing this at the request of insiders who are risking much to expose the truth.
The 9/11 hijackers came from rural and backward segments of the Saudi society?????? Evidence?
Exert from article....
These professionals are walking the tight rope of showing public compliance with the President and his policies, while quietly using bureaucratic inertia to slow the practical effects of the Administrations efforts to undermine the Constitution.
They are engaged in very personal, gut-wrenching struggles to preserve the institutions charged with protecting our nation. They are doing so at the risk of their careers as well as the risks of being lumped together with the Administration which sets the political agendas for those institutions. In some cases, they resign in protest as the Justice Department official did in response to Eric Holders handling of the Black Panther case.
But in most cases, they continue to serve quietly to safe guard the continuity and integrity of those institutions until the political winds bring new political leadership.
I needed to hear this!!!!
Thanks!
I am sorry you are not part of the problem , I should not make things personal. I am frustrated with the intel mindset that we need to keep the relationship because it might be worse if they fall. I think it could not be worse then fighting an enemy that is seen as your friend and is invited to sit at the table. The house of Saud builds and finances the “houses of worship” AP term , that are killing all of us.
Thanks for your article.
So who paid for Obama's college, the Saudis or the Muslim Brotherhood? It matters because that will be where his allegiance lies. The 1979 article by Vernon Jarrett, if I'm not mistaken, was about the MB funding American black revolutionaries, but it may have said the Saudis. Can't remember. Good article. Thanks for posting.
Strategically, we (and the Western World) are unfortunately tied to the shaky House of Saud because of our dependence on their oil, as well as the rest of the oil in the Middle East. Break that requirement by developing our own plentiful energy resources, and the threat of a hostile takeover in Saudi Arabia collapsing our economy rapidly diminishes.
Also, control our nearly unbridled importation of Muslim radicals into America and you diminish the threat much more. Controlling foreign subversive elements allowed into our country was once a sensible national security policy. Look how we kept out Communists for decades. Now we gaily import our own enemies!
By and large, we can thank the Windmill and Unicorn Farts crowd for keeping us in bondage to the Muslim world because of oil and political correctness. The 0bama Administration and American Liberalism in general are the biggest supporters and enablers of this fraudulent and un-American movement. It is they on whom the blame for our ungoing nightmare must be laid.
I am not buying into that theory.
The last thing the Saudi Muslims should be doing is collaborating with us Infidels against other fundamental Muslims who are following Islam as written in the Koran, and the examples set by Muhammed in the Hadiths.
What the Saudis should be doing, and are doing, is undermining us Kafirs by funding Mosques around the world and in this country to help defeat us Infidels.
This "the Saudis are really our friends", doesn't fly with me. -tom
Very good read!
Dear Bill, did you mean “untrustworthy” rather than “distrustful”?
See my question on comment 54.
Thank you for your service, and thank you for the posted essay. well and tyruly stated regarding the House of Saud. I would love to hear what your take on House of Saud building and supporting the radical madrasses wprld-wide is, but that is grist for another mill ...
Thank you for your continued service to the Republic with this lucid piece of writing. I especially appreciate the fact that there are thousands of professionals who swore the oath. I have a son who swore that oath, has served honorably and who shall soon advance into the ranks of Marine officers. And, I know, beyond a doubt, that he know what an oath is, and that he knows what integrity is.
There is yet good reason to hope. Never give up! Never, never, never.
Unlikely that AlHamdi was trying to infiltrate the terrorist organizations on behalf of the Saudis cooperating with US anti-terrorism - because he’s been identified by MestaMachine as Hamza, the son of Bin Laden, who has sworn to avenge his death.
I don’t know all of Mesta’s qualifications or all the facts she used to determine that, but know that she is qualified at doing facial recognition and she’s implied that there are other skills and knowledge she also has, that make her qualified to be trusted to make that determination. She’s also said that the US government would have known who he was even before the bombing, if I’m understanding correctly.
So there is deep, deep doo-doo going on here, and Michelle Obama’s visit to him (but not to one of the injured heroes from that day) links this guy directly to the Obamas.
Does anyone know which mosque(s) Al Harbi attended in Boston?
They don't seem to be doing a very good job of the latter.
His family is steeped in Al Qaeda ties. He has many relatives in Al Qaeda.
