To: Alas Babylon!

Morning AB, All....

....singing at 10 am mass.

Spent weekend with daughter going through all of Billy’s stuff.

Folks, I got comic books, an unbelievable stamp collection (with 18cent American stamps!)...big as a phone book, carefully filled with stamps from all over the world. Got to be almost 50 years old cause I don’t ever remember him saving stamps.

Also hundreds of LP’s.

the comic books all in ziploc bags and he already priced them on Ebay. Estimate collection is worth in the thousands.

Found three BEAUTIFUL, brand new, electric guitars. Going to get assessed at music store.

Keyboards!!! Gorgeous keyboards, huge amplifiers, speakers as big as a room.

Yes I knew these things were there but Billy had three rooms plus a closet in the garage that were his alone. I seldom went inside.

I ALWAYS complained about the “stuff” he had piled in closets.

Gonna have a huge flea market....got three 33 gal trash bags filled with clothes that HAVE NEVER EVEN HAD THE PRICE TAG REMOVED!!

Gorgeous clothes.

Just unbelievable....and there’s more.

“Talk” at you all later.

Good morning, Fish. You’re in a civilized (well, populated!) part of the country, so flea markets and yard sales are feasible.
But...if you are even thinking about ebay, please read their community forums section first. Specifically, check out the discussion boards of “Seller Central” and “Paypal.”
Then have a great yard sale from home where you make the rules. :)
