The US State Department is traitorous and it is past time to tell one secret. An additional duty I had was base COMSEC Officer (communication security). About 1978, I got a Top Secret message from DoD that said the State Department had given permission to Seafloat (USSR shipping) to unload ships on one coast and to drive unescorted to the other coast. This was never coordinated with DoD. The trucks are sealed and are to be treated as diplomatic pouches. They are required to stay on interstate highways. When DoD discovered this, we followed some of the trucks and they were leaving main roads to park outside military bases. DoD does not have the resources to follow every truck. Be alert for suspicious vehicles and be certain all classified processed electronically on your base satisfies COMSEC requirements. I advised all base authorities and never got an update from DoD or heard anything in the MSM. Those communist trucks could have prepositioned all types of weapons or terrorist across our country.
