One neighbor says a naked woman was seen crawling on her hands and knees in the backyard of the house a few years ago. Another heard pounding on the home's doors and noticed plastic bags over the windows.
Both times, police showed up but never went inside, neighbors say. Police also paid a visit to the house in 2004, but no one answered the door.
Now, after three women who vanished a decade ago were found captive Monday at the peeling, rundown house, Cleveland police are facing questions for the second time in four years about their handling of missing-person cases and are conducting an internal review to see if they overlooked anything

In all fairness, it’s most often guys.
In a big city, cops see tons of very weird stuff on a daily basis
Our society has taught our daughters to be too “nice”. We need to teach ‘em how to hurt a man who is attacking them(sorry guys: I know you are wincing), scream, kick know that the nice policeman won’t be there for them most of the time.
And never, ever get in a car with your abductor because it is ALL OVER if you do.
As for Elizabeth Smart, why weren’t the hired help, including the perp who abducted her, checked out by the Utah police and FBI? Apparently Mrs. Smart liked to give the indigent work to do around their home as part her charity toward God’s helpless and poor. Well, actually NOT. In this case, it almost got her daughter murdered.
Elizabeth Smart did NOTHING that she has to repent or be ashamed of. She was a victim...but I wish she hadn’t been.
It will be no surprise if we find out there are other girls, other men and other locations.
Nor would it be a surprise to find some of the girls are no longer alive
We need to give them guns and teach them how to carry and shoot them.
Fox interviewed a neighbor this evening who said a group of old folks living in the neighborhood had seen three naked women on all fours in the backyard with leashes around their necks; they called the cleveland police who never showed (if true, appalling incompetence). A signal needs to be sent with these three trashheap brothers - execution of all three in a year, no dilly dallying with endless appeals for people who are damned guilty without a single acceptable excuse or reason for the evil they have done.
He said that an elderly woman from a nursing home saw the three women in the yard.
Was the person who disavowed the event, the woman from the nursing home?
Gotta tell you....those were the most hysterically funny serious interviews......how about the neighbor who said, “if I ever go to prison AGAIN”, I’m going to——— the mfer (fox bleeped him). I’m sure Greta could hardly contain herself.

What is amazing is how the media is all over this story with all the graphic events that are sure to be mentioned, but they can not discuss the abortion clinic in Philly because of the graphic nature of the story.
Isn’t that the truth. Actually, they want to pretend abortions aren’t violent, so if they bury the story, no guilt.
I can’t believe it either, the police will most likely get a raise.
I didn't see "passive-agressive threats" in his response.
But what YOU need to do is to think about how he could easily prevent them from escaping. These were kids when captured. All the guy has to do is tell them, "You try to escape, I kill your family. So, are you going to behave?"
There are some good cops and there are some lazy lard asses. And some outright scumballs who should be in jail.
When they do their job, they also have to fill out paper work, so it’s easier to not do the job.
One aspect of the reporting seems to come forward to me.
3 girls, and apparently some children they have born, were held against their will for 10 years.
I suspect there had been some degree of complicity involved. Maybe a Stockholm syndrome evolved, but I suspect also that a free sexuality outside of marriage perception has socially evolved.
It might be the case that the women had adapted to this common law marriage arrangement, in order to justify their undeserved consequences, corrupted by an initial holding against their will, and later becoming amenable to the arrangement. Something recently may have triggered their absolute rejection of the arrangement, and they have returned to their original hatred of their being held against their will.
The press reports indicate the other 2 brothers had recently not been around the house, perhaps having ostracized the other brother.
Sounds as though something criminal has recently occurred beyond the kidnapping and sexual criminality.
Let’s just hope you never have to find out.
