I really don't need the passive-aggressive threats tonight. I didn't see "passive-agressive threats" in his response.
But what YOU need to do is to think about how he could easily prevent them from escaping. These were kids when captured. All the guy has to do is tell them, "You try to escape, I kill your family. So, are you going to behave?"
