Sen. Dianne Feinstein says the talking points used on the Sunday news shows following the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, were wrong, adding that the administration should have been quicker in calling it a terrorist act. “I think the talking points were wrong,” the California Democrat who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee, said Sunday on NBC´s “Meet the Press.” “I think the talking points should not be written by the intelligence community.” “Unfortunately," she added, "the word extremist was used which isn’t not as crystal clear as terrorist.”

It is all about “coming forward” to say it was a terrorist act.
This is just an attempt to take control of the debate by co-opting some of the argument but not letting it advance to a degree that could hurt them.
In her defense, she does have a lot of employees and servants who don’t speak English.

I am really supprised the talking points didn’t just call it a “work place incident”.
I’ll bet that there are a quite a few CIA operatives who would love for Senator Fineswine to visit Libya and Benghazi right about now. I am sure they would provide very fine security for her. Odds are she would return to the USA the same way our Ambassador did.
