It’s amazing how much Miller doesn’t know.

This was reminiscent of the Thadeous McCotter from Michigan rants. It was EXCELLENT. Loved it.

After watching on line and then again bits & pieces on America Live with Megyn, I wrote my Senators, both Session and Shelby and my Congresscritter Mo Brooks.

Be careful making it political.

I don’t like this thread title. I don’t consider a frank expression of the facts at hand to be “berating”. The little douche-nozzle got off easy, IMHO.

The mindless libs on the comment section of BusinessInsider continue to cheer on the IRS. There truly is no hope for them.

This was great.

What next?
If the GOP was smart...

They would take this opportunity to revamp the entire agency (IRS) and the tax code.
Make it much more difficult for them to behave this way, and for the American public to be duped into paying for idiotic programs through the tax code.

Never would they be more popular with the American Public.
If the Senate leadership then passes on dealing with these bills, it can easily be highlighted during the mid term elections.
The senate would at least have to deal with the issue, and so would Obama.

And it would be fun to watch the dems squirm.
I just hope they don’t overplay their hand... cause then the press will retreat into defensive dem mode almost immediately.

Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) went on a rant during outgoing Acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller's testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee

Mike Kelly was far too nice to Miller. I doubt most of us would have been so nice to him.

Great Vid
I cheered too
One thing that hasn’t been made clear on this Miller dude
he was the acting director and was leaving that anyway in 2 weeks
so 9dumbo announcing they called for his resignation is stupid
BUT he said he held 2 titles and I bet he isn’t resigning his second title
What BS

The video is a keeper.

In 10/20 years it may be the only memory of what an elected official was supposed to stand for.

I do not think we can escape as the progressives have way too many people in government and sitting on the bench, and if that were not enough, there are enough journalists spiking as many stories as possible so the word truth may only be found in a dictionary.

Berating rant?

He reminded the outgoing IRS Chief at the start of each statement, that he was treating him the same way American taxpayers are routinely and regularly treated by the IRS.

They don’t care. The irs will suffer a brief sting and then go back to what they do best: destroying private enterprise, seizing money from producers, redistributing money to democrat voters, hounding and harassing innocent individuals to create an atmosphere of fear.

Outrage is fine from WDC, but it rarely goes any further.

Seems like the louder the outrage the less likely that anyone in management will pay a real price. In WDC, being berated is a satisfactory substitute for arrest & conviction. Ask Charlie Rangel.

Until I see high level officials wearing handcuffs this all remains absurd theater to me.

Absurd? Because “regular” people would have already been arrested by now, their homes & businesses ransacked, their assets frozen, their file & records seized. Seen or heard of any search warrants being issued? Any offices being searched? Nope! By the time this happens, if ever, the perps will be surgery clean. The high capacity shredders are running 24/7.

Who believes Eric Holder will even investigate this criminality, much less issue any arrest warrants?

Congress can investigate forever, but they have no power to arrest the guilty, not even to fire them. Impeachment is an impossibility based on partisan politics. So, the Executive branch of gov’t is free to do as it pleases, despite any laws to the contrary. That Holder is still AG is testament to this fact.

This is a huge blow to the faith and trust the American people have in their government.

How sick is it that Americans have "faith and trust in their government" in the first place. Anyway, what does the Democrat party base of moochers, bums, deadbeats, and parasites care about IRS abuses? They don't care about the IRS even if they've heard of it. Those scum are more likely to cheer on the IRS.
