How long will it be until Carney threatens the press corps with jail (or worse) if they continue to ask impudent and impertinent questions?

Is there any law that anyone from the WH has to meet with the press? I could see 0bama group just shutting down on “press briefings” and releasing selected written statements only, only when they choose to do so.
