While I love being a Texan, I hate being an American these days. When is the last straw going to be the last straw?

Germany- Ovens- Gas Chambers- even then there wasn’t enough to break the camel’s back- They did a test here i nthe us asking people to witness what they htought was extreme abuse, and to hit a button when they saw too much but ot refrain if they htought the person was dealign with it ‘ok’ and a few other tests where their morality was beign tested, and time after time the people refraiend even after they said they would pre-test- The show started off by sayign somethign along htel iens of “Think that what happened in Germany woudl never happen here? Think again”
People are shockinglyu capable of tolorating EXTREME abuses to others, and fall into the trap of htinking it could never happen to them even thouigh they see it happenign to everyoen aroudn them- They fall into a mentality of self-preservation which demands they ‘not get involved’ even though they proudly proclaim before the event that they ‘would never’ do such and such- but when it comes down to it- they follow right along with all those before them that simply complied and paid with hteir lives for it- We always htink ‘someone will stop this at soem point’ but noone ever does-
