What was it restricted to before, flintlocks? If you shot the range qualification with a semi-automatic, you could carry any gun.
If you shot the range qualification with a revolver, you could only carry a revolver.

Previously if you used a revolver to get your CHL, you were only permitted to CC a revolver. If you used a semi-auto, you could CC either.
