Reflections on My Ex-Muslim Friends

Some of my best friends are Muslims. Or rather, some of my best friends were Muslims—not that they are no longer Muslims but that they are no longer my friends.

The problem I had over years of friendship had to do with certain personal attributes which I value highly, namely, consistency and the ability to recognize facts. My friends were good men who believed in Western democratic values, in selective immigration policies based on the possession of needed skills that would contribute to both society and the economy, in the necessity for Muslim (and all) immigrants to assimilate into the heritage culture, and in customary methods of education and a traditional curriculum; they rejected the utter folly of multiculturalism as it is practiced in Canada. At the same time they were staunch adherents of Islam as they understood it and swore by the distinction between Islam and Islamism, between genuine Muslims and radical Islamists, a distinction characterized, they claimed, by an unbridgeable divide.

I enjoyed a positive and warm relation with two of these men in particular. Both are published authors. Both are much in the limelight, reviewed and interviewed in many different places, for defending the liberal society they find superior to any other. And both are under a fatwa issued by their less tolerant brethren. And yet one of these valiant combatants considers Mohammed to be the perfect man whom Muslims should strive to emulate, is not well versed in the complex history of the Middle East, and entertains a corrosive skepticism about Israel. The other, while regarding his jihadist co-religionists as barbarians, yet argues that the atrocities associated with the development and diffusion of Islam should be historically contextualized, that the doctrinal heart of Islam is untarnished by events, and that the faith has not been

There are plenty of moderate muslims.

The grave yards are full of them!

Pipes is himself in denial. Islam is pure evil — based on the teachings of a power-hungry tyrant — Mohammed.

Maybe Pipes will figure Islam out one day.

Extremist Muslims are like snakes that come out to bite people in the leg.

Moderate Muslims are like grass. They hide the snakes when they’re not biting people in the leg.

Mohammed was a warrior. Islam is a war plan.

I really like that analogy!

WINSTON CHURCHILL ON ISLAM - IN 1899!

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!
Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia
in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many
countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods
of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet
rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the
next of its dignity and sanctity.

The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as
his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must
delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased
to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid
qualities - but the influence of the religion paralyses the social
development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists
in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and
proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa,
raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity
is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it
had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell
the civilization of ancient Rome.”

-Sir Winston Churchill (The River War, first edition, Vol. II, pages
248-50 (London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1899).

HERE IS ANOTHER QUOTE:

“To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Muhammad and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly as he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing”

— General George S. Patton: The War as I Knew it, 1974, p.49

They never were or can possibly be a friend........

This quote by Churchill on Islam explains why one of Obama’s first acts as president of the USA was to call the British ambassador to come pick up the bust of Churchill that had graced the Oval Office. He obviously inherited his hatred of Britain from his Communist father and other Kenyan relatives.

I don’t have any muslim friends - following islam requires either an unreflective mind or and evil heart.

Either way, that person’s a waste of my time.

They bear watching, though.

The author is absolutely correct. Islam has absolutely NO redeeming virtues and is now and has always been nothing more that a murderous template for barbarism.

Muslims of all types are much like the followers of Charles Manson..
They refuse to accept who Mohammad was.. and project on him a “fiction”..

This condition runs from merely delusional to severe mental dysfunction..
It is well known who Mohammad was and what he actually did...

MoMo did little that was beneficial to anybody.. especially muslims..
ALL muslims are like women that fall in love with serial killers..

However it is true THAT; the minds of many are scrambled from the time they are toddlers..
BY others whose minds were scrambled from the time they were toddlers..
Child abuse “on Crack”.. Islam is not a religion it IS a cycle of delusion..

Which IS WHY?... the scrambling starts as they are toddlers..
Are you Muslim?... then your has been SCRAMBLED.. Yes like eggs..

There is no such thing as a ‘’moderate muslim’’. If the bloody religion were ‘’peaceful’’, why would there be any need for ‘’moderation’’? Wouldn’t that make the argument it isn’t’’ peaceful’’?

Islam is a religion of death. Killing is it's Communion and blood is it's Host.

When someone claims that Islam is a religion of peace, challenge them as follows:

What does “peace” mean to a Muslim?

- To a Buddhist, “peace” is a state of mind that is a path to a higher state of being.
- To a Christian, “peace” is a deep knowledge that God loves us and sent Christ to die for our sins so that we could join Him in heaven someday.
- To the secular world, “peace” is a situation where there is no fighting.

The Christian and Buddhist “peace” are quite compatible with secular “peace”.

- To a Muslim, “peace” is worldwide submission to Islam. "Islam" is Arabic for submission. The different sects of Islam differ on how that submission is accomplished; but the Koran makes it quite clear that forceable submission is allowable or even necessary.

Muslim “peace” and secular “peace” are entirely incompatible.

And if they disagree, challenge them with this:

If muslims were to build a mosque in Rome, would there be violence?

If Christians were to build a church in Mecca, would there be violence?
