I knew someone who got a degree in medieval French literature. And she got a job researching medieval French Literature.

My daughter will get her PhD in Early English Lit this June.
Proud that she is graduating but really wish she had chosen a different major.
I stopped paying after she got her Bachelors and told her I won't pay for a degree with no jobs or money attached to it. She was allowed to keep living at home; free room and board, but still blames me for her having to work for her tuition while working on her disertation.
Of course she hates me now and just says I am an old Palaeocon
with no concept of how important this area of study is.
