Louie Gohmert Fumes: If Not For John McCain ‘Benghazi Would Not Have Happened’
Mediaite ^ | 05/31/13 | Evan McMurry

Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert has unearthed a new culprit in the Benghazi saga: fellow Republican John McCain.

Conservative radio host Frank Gaffney asked Gohmert to comment on McCain’s “hobnobbing with jihadists” during his recent trip to Syria. Gohmert brought up a similar trip of McCain’s to Libya, where he feels McCain’s policy to depose Muammar Gaddafi unleashed the Muslim extremist forces that later attacked the American Consulate in Benghazi.

Awh come on! McCain was just looking for a photo op, a little fame, and personal meaning in his life. What’s a senile prima donna going to do since he lost his fawning media? He played his big role in Obama’s movie, and now there is nothing for him to do, but hustle any part he can get.

My premise is, that if there is going to be press about Benghazi, please Lord, let it be about Obama and Hillary.

Please don’t let it be about McCain who really screwed up, but wasn’t involved on the night of the killing of our diplomats.

Why must we continually muddy the waters to the extent that the Left gets away with murder?

“What you are saying is that the media should focus on John McCain along with Obama and Clinton.”

I said no such thing! Look Skippy, you speak for yourself.

My opinion on the matter was clearly stated. I don't really give a $hit if you like it or not!

You need to disabuse yourself of that hope, it ain’t happening.

What MIGHT happen, however, is that the SRM can’t resist chirping about ‘internecine warfare in the GOP’ that gets
them to even SAY the word Benghazi.

It won’t be hard for the LIV to connect ARAB SPRING -> RAPED AND KILLED AMBASSADOR if we don’t let the SRM kill the story!

Middle East Genocide

We are witnesses to murder, and our governments are accomplices. The relentless destruction of the last remnants of the Middle East’s Judeo-Christian civilization is well under way. And we are silent.

Captives of political correctness, our governments cater to radical immigrant tantrums as our leaders contort the truth to deny the existence of Islamist terrorism. Meanwhile, our Middle Eastern “allies” and foes alike eradicate thousands of years of Jewish and Christian heritage. Our diplomats treat the persecution as a minor embarrassment, best ignored.

The banishments and butchery aren’t new,but the breakdown of the last rotting order in the wake of the “Arab Spring” has empowered psychotic fanatics who do not even value the lives of the faithful, let alone the lives of unbelievers. This is the end-game,the final persecution of Christians clinging to lands they’ve called home for 2,000 years.

Was part of the "Gang of Keating 5" now the "Gang of 8". McCain has no rudder in the water and would be rejected by our Founding Fathers for lacking any principles.

Ted Cruz honored him as a Prisoner of War, but took him out to pasture on the Senate floor.

McCain mixed himself with it. Obastard never could have done what he did without McCain.  He deserves to be blamed with the rest of them.

What you are saying is that the media should focus on John McCain along with Obama and Clinton.

I said no such thing! Look Skippy, you speak for yourself.

You said that Obama could never had done what he did without McCain.  Please explain why Obama couldn't have done what he did the night of the Benghazi attack, without McCain's help?

Be specific about what McCain did that night that made it possible for Obama to abandon our staff.  And please explain why you think that staff couldn't have been rescued that night.  If they could have been rescued, and McCain took no action that night at all, then the blame for Benghazi rest solely on the President and Secretary of State.

You can't go back to a blanket support of the insurgents in Libya, and convert that into blame for the dead diplomats.  If our diplomats could have been saved, and most folks think they could have, then nothing else matters related to the blame for what took place that night.

My opinion on the matter was clearly stated. I don't really give a $hit if you like it or not!

You opinion as expressed would lead any thinking person to realize that if McCain is to be blamed, then the media should be mentioning his name every time they discuss the issues surrounding Obama's and Clinton's actions.

If you don't want to be held accountable for the natural progression that would occur do to your policy advocacy, then advocate for something different.

Don't go into a hissy fit because you get called on it.

Okay, then you believe changing the subject to McCain is going to get Obama and Clinton in hot water.

I don’t.

That is true, but McCain’s love of jihadists makes the GOP open to blame as well. It makes the suicide of the US and Israel “bi-partisan” even if Dems are in power.

They got the “moderate” GOP on the hook in the appearance of supporting the jihadists in Syria by Obama sending the Wackobird McStupid over to meet with the jihadists, pictures and all. Those radicals he met with in Syria, slaughtered a Christian village right after meeting with him.

Huma Abedin and the Muslim Brotherhood: Bachmann vs. McCain

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is at the center of a firestorm over her request that the State, Homeland Security, Defense and Justice Departments, investigate potential “policies and activities that appear to be the result of influence operations conducted by individuals and organizations associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.”

… McCain declared in a statement on the Senate floor .... brimming with righteous indignation, thundered:

“These sinister accusations rest solely on a few unspecified and unsubstantiated associations of members of Huma’s family, none of which have been shown to harm or threaten the United States in any way. These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis, and no merit. And they need to stop now.”

So Hillary is off the hook?

The Hillary for President 2016 campaign should send Gohmert a thank-you card.

When they redistricted Texas, they put my Dad from Hensarling’s district to Gohmert’s district...

They split Wood County right in half...Somebody is still going to have to explain that one to me...

But it not a bad change for him...
